Randy Coates
Randy Coates remembers one of the first stories he ever wrote: it was a writing project he did in grade five when he was ten. It was a horror story entitled “Blood.” As a teenager, he wrote a short story about the struggles of high school and it made his sister cry when she read it.
These are only two of the experiences that inspired him to become a full-fledged writer.
He recently retired as an elementary school teacher but his job never got in the way of his writing. For the past 45 years, he has written eight novels, two memoirs, over 120 short stories, and over 100 poems.
When he bleeds, you see ink. When he dreams, there is always a beginning, a middle, and an end.
